Description:
Aulonocara baenschi get their trade name of Sunshine Peacock from the bright yellow bodies that males exhibit. Males will also display a bright blue face and sometimes some blue at the very center of the body. These fish live over scattered rocks and a sandy substrate on the Nkhomo Reef near the town of Benga, Malawi, where they get their other common name of Yellow Benga Peacock.
