Description:
Ruby Reds are a line-bred variety of Aulonocara sp. Maleri, which are normally yellow. They exhibit red scales with a blue sheen underneath. The amount of red will vary depending on dominance, diet, and mood. For brighter, more intense reds, we recommend color-enhancing flakes or extra meals of brine shrimp and other invertebrates that help bring out their color, as well as bright lighting.
