Red tiger Severum (Cichlasoma Severum) is an omnivore fish with a mix of gold and red along with black stripes similarly to a tiger’s pattern. They typically have a broken 7th bar, but this can vary between individuals. Red tiger Severum can be a social pet and its appearance makes it quite comparable to parrot cichlids who are from the same family. Severum fish are often featured in monster fish aquariums as they are usually compatible and add much needed color to the tank.
